    We had just arrived at the hotel for a 5 days conference and went straight to the Blue Bay restaurant unaware of its reputation.... The hostess was very welcoming, the whole staff was very present and helpful, there were many choices for the wines , and the food was amazing! Beauty was everywhere: in the plates, in the different meals, in the cutlery....The different courses were not all good but some were delicious , always with unexpected mixtures and unknown tastes. A very great experience, much worth the high price we paid ...

    We had an unforgettable evening and had an exceptional culinary trip. We are from Martinique and we are very proud of Marcel Ravin's career. Congratulations to him for highlighting all the flavors of Martinique associated with the flavors of the South of France.     I've known this place for at least 20 years. I have seen all the transformations and improvements especially at the Blue Bay restaurant with its chef Mr Ravin. This gentleman outside his talent who deserves these two stars and always of great simplicity, of great kindness. Now that the room has been completely redone more to host the Sunday brunch which I understand. I made the discovery today of the great hall named calypso that took the place of the old little casino Brunch that previously had a slightly more intimate side no longer has the same charm. Much more people and so we are looking for profitability and it is now in my opinion a little at the expense of the quality of the buffets. Small plates a little slap on the eye that do not cost much...... Everything is in very small quantity and finally quite little varied. The oysters are almost empty but very nice shrimp. tiny portions of smoked salmon, the small pieces of crust cake measure roughly 3 cm by 3 cm and you have to insist on having two. Hot side dish very good risotto but here too the cook has instructions for portion size. Of course the catch is on champagne at will very good besides but not enough to justify these buffets rather mediocre finally for such an establishment compared to those of betting (Royal Monceau, Ritz, Grand Hyatt, etc.)

    An extraordinary experience that you have in this almost new-looking restaurant and that despite the fact that the restaurant and the chef have probably existed here for over 10 years! I was very amazed that the 2-star chef was actually there all evening and didn’t miss out on explaining all the courses to me personally and finishing at the table. I took the foie gras as a starter and then a roast veal! All excellently prepared and an explosion of taste! Yesterday’s bread for tomorrow is also a great idea, as an intermediate course! Also of course very good amuse before and gourmandise for after. And the cheese course also delicious! Service was omnipresent and very individually tailored to each guest! Surely in company one of the menu suggestions would also be big cinema, but I prefer big plates and whole dishes! And then cheese rather than dessert! All not an issue here! Even a short taste neutralize on the not far away smoking terrace was not seen as offensive and one be! The staff is truly a warm-hearted troupe that makes everything the guest desires possible! I didn't expect it in such a restaurant in such a fashionable place!

    After a first visit in 2022, we returned to the blue Bay in October 2024, whao this new decoration, we are transported to the world of the chef, the taste buds are on alert and the service is just perfect.

    A big thank you to Chief Marcel Ravin and his entire brigade. The menu was exceptional, with many flavors. The very pleasant atmosphere thanks to the new decoration. More than deserves a third star.

    Dinner a few weeks ago: Great experience and Experience with a Capital E so please do visit this “point de vente”. From the experienced sommelier (19 years in the job in the same restaurant no less!): I was hesitating between different wines but luckily the sommelier was good enough to help me select the most expensive ones. I also saw a wine he had just added to his wine list and that he had highly spoken of. He acknowledged he had not tasted it so I offered: "Why don't we taste it together so you can taste and discover the wine you just bought for your customers?" That's what great sommeliers are made of in such a high-end fine dining restaurant in Monaco, no? The canapés arrived very soon in the proceeding as we just sat, sadly even before I was given the time to choose my aperitif. The RM saw that and acted swiftly, well done to him. I was hesitating between the different imposed menus -there is no a la carte, the kitchen decides for you- but the canapés were so good that they helped me to opt for the shortest menu. The lay-out of the floor is very interesting & telling: the patisserie has taken over the center of the floor. Customers’ tables are therefore located accordingly. Hopefully, the kitchen staff are comfortable as a result. I learnt during the meal that a 6-H dinner was on the cards in mid-October: Ducasse and ALLENO joining the chef. If you can go, I would urge you to as it will be quite interesting to compare the different cooking skills of those two cuisiniers-en-chef vs those of Marcel Ravin. Why the title "Point de vente"? Well the big boss at the end of the meal came to my table and explained to me that I had been dining at one of the "points de vente" he was responsible for". And indeed, I had noticed. One of the most interesting restaurants I have been to in a long time.

    You won't find too many other settings in the world that are as captivating and impressive as this. We had a table right at the edge of the terrace overlooking the azure sea, with yachts drifting past and the sun gradually setting. It was one of those moments where you have to pause to take stock of your situation in life. We were very well looked after by the staff who were friendly and tolerant of us chatting with them in both English and our somewhat broken French. The tasting menu was a series of lessons in flavours and ingredients I've never encountered before - my first foray into any Caribbean cuisine. I thought that the non alcoholic wine pairing was rather disappointing at 80 euros per head and at a two star restaurant where you expect top level effort and ingenuity at every turn. With just three non alcoholic recreations of wine (white, rose, red) that were essentially grape juices with some herbal infusions, it wasn't particularly creative or extensive compared to the efforts at other Michelin star restaurants I've been to. On the whole, the experience was very enjoyable though I put most of this down to the location and its view, and the staff. The food across the tasting menu was interesting, there were no problems but there wasn't really any wow factor with anything beyond the view from our table. I came away thinking that Monaco and SBM is getting incredibly generous and favourable treatment from Michelin with two stars here. When comparing to any other starred restaurant I've been to between 1 and 3 stars, I would say Blue Bay should be fighting to retain one star. I still remember specific highlight dishes I've eaten at many fine dining restaurants even years later but I've already forgotten just about everything I ate at the Blue Bay which I find sad.

    That was an absolutely amazing experience in this restaurant! Everything from the view to the sweet takeaway compliment was incredible! I love their attention to the details of everything, how food tastes, table settings and design connected to the chef and his personal story! We had a big tasting menu with 11 dishes and each was so special and new, I've never tried anything similar! Service was just perfect, The sommelier advised us a very beautiful wine and our waiter was super attentive, kind and intelligent! It's definitely a very special place! And an unforgettable experience!

    Re Blue Bay, Marcel Ravin. Monaco I and my two guests ate yesterday evening at Blue Bay , Monaco. I have never experienced earthy vegetarian food that was so celestial. Marcel Ravin and his kitchen staff deserve fully the two stars assigned to them; .even a third Having been told that the 19:30 slot was completely booked we came in at 20:30, our reserved slot, to find the inside and outside dining areas completely empty. If the presumed 19:30 guest ate fast to allow our arrival at 20:30 they did themselves a disservice because the food is superlative and deserves leisurely appreciation All three of us wore coats. as requested by Blue Bay. We were the only ones of the 10 plus other tables with male guests all sporting T shirts or shirts. Most regrettably the service was abominable. We came in at 20:30 hs and left at 23:30. Half and hour passed between each serving . I had to get up and prompt the staff to accelerate their serving the two courses and coffee we ordered from their carte. The chef-s attitude and that of their waiters was so haughty that I can only surmise they have been trained to snob their guest as a way to claim their high standing, Mr Ravin deserves better. I respectfully suggest he get out of the kitchen and judge how service is performed. It does not honor his talent.     First of all, Marcel is an artist.. you can feel the passion and heart through the many options of food you are able to taste (the biggest advantage is that they have their own garden with veggies within the area of Monte Carlo Bay Hotel) while enjoying the atmosphere created by many staff members and of course the location of calming bay area during summer.. very well priced for 2 Michelin stars.. chocolate dessert is a masterpiece and pure bliss (with both cold and hot chocolate on the side) I can truly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Monaco. Many thanks to a French and Latvian waitress for top class service, presentation and Parisian style.. If I could, I would give you 6 stars. Cheers from Ireland!

    Very dissatisfied and disappointed. The taste just wasn't there at all. The signature dish which was highly recommended (the egg) was just an egg with truffle. Nothing special. The duck was very chewy and unpleasant. Also the side dish to the duck had the exact same taste with the previous dish (the signature dish) full in truffle - to the point u could not taste anything else. Sebastian was very friendly and nice. Other than that not value for money. Go somewhere else.

    Very disappointing experience at Blue Bay Marcel Ravin this past Saturday night. We had a great experience there in 2019 and were excited to come back. However on this occasion the service was stiff and unfriendly (except for one of the head waiters). The dishes were just okay, in fact I've had much better at One Star and Bib Gourmand Michelin restaurants. Finally, Marcel Ravin visited every table (some multiple times) but never came over to our table. That is obviously is his prerogative and I would never ding a restaurant for that, but it was a bit curious and on top of everything else made for the disappointing experience.

    It is a pity when the quality of the dinner decline so much in one year. Last June it was just the best place in Monaco with the very interesting concept, while now… The wine list is pure in a red Burgundy. The Salstice menu is very strange: the first course is just a salad , the main is not properly done duck- burned on the side and chewy inside following by three courses of dessert. The best dish was the small salad which accompanied the cheese plate.

    Our second Michelin experience. Our frame of reference is 3 Michelin Star Eleven Madison Park which was a bit more expensive, so we had reasonable expectations. Most of the dishes were flavourful. The main course (fish) was excellent, the lamb (fatty belly) was medicocre. I would've expected constant bread service. We got one basket. We went through three bottles of still (warm, minerally) water. We could tell other tables received more timely service (they all appeared to order wine). More positives: beautiful dining room, wonderful outside patio view overlooking the water, chef visited every table and a very tasty loaf of desert bread to go.

    In terms of fine dining maybe the best I’ve ever had. Setting is beautiful, food was delicious, exciting and filling (sometimes an overlooked part of a taster menu) service was flawless. Not cheap but worth every penny.

    Overall, the food was good and the 9 course menu (that’s the minimum amount of dishes) was very filling. BUT. I still can’t believe that in 2 Michelin star restaurant they use pre-frozen food. The bread that they served was not properly heated, therefore the middle part had remained completely frozen. Even in the average restaurants down the road they serve a freshly backed bread. For this level of service it’s unacceptable. On top of that, one of the stuff members (I assume he is the manager) kept walking by and winging at me. He did it twice, despite the fact that I was accompanied by my husband. This is totally inappropriate and I felt very uncomfortable. There must be the protocol and the etiquette which is supposed to be STRICTLY followed. Not recommending.

    To say that this was an experience of a lifetime, is an understatement. From the time you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with top notch quality customer service. The ambience was amazing.! The menu reached into areas of our palettes that have not been ignited in years, if ever. And finally towards the end of our courses, I thought that maybe they had forgotten my husband’s birthday but they surprised us both with a treat. A “Happy Birthday” dessert for him and a “Happy Honeymoon” dessert for me. Small memories like this are the ones that I will hold in my heart for years to come. The whole night was out of this world! My only regret was that we did not meet the chef but only observed his magic and crew from afar. Next time!

    The view and atmosphere are beautiful. I can see the effort. However, I now understand why it's only a one Michelin star yet I'm puzzled on even that. Service is lacking & food is left much to desire. Extremely disappointed to say the least.

    Great experience. We choose the longer menu and every dish was either very good or excellent, we particularly liked the gnocchi and the zucchini "tagliatelle", mindblowingly good. The service was good, there were some minor mistakes but otherwise it was very professional while still making us feel at home (especially the Italian guy). Wine selection is not the largest and the price is pretty stiff but they only have very good wines, so you can't go wrong even if you choose one of the cheaper options. They also gave us a delicious sweet to take home, nice touch.

    We went here for dinner with my wife on our honeymoon and everything was delicious and beyond expectations. We were well taken care of. The chef made the most unbelievable menu. The staff was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend. We couldn't have asked for a better night out!

    Me and my friend decided to try this restaurant for the experience, and mostly because they have a 7 courses meal !! Food was really good, staff was a bit cold we found but maybe cause we are not used to all this. We enjoyed are night plenty. My only BUT would be ; 120€ might be a bit overpriced for the vegan menu, I mean I could make risotto and salad at home for 10 bucks xD I guess we really pay for the service. I wouldn’t go back but I’m glad I tried.

    Wow, what a place. I've eaten at a few 2* michelin restaurants and many 1*... This restaurant deserves 2 michelin stars and I hope that they are awarded that next year. The staff are super professional and how the food is laid out to you is amazing. The chef here does a wonderful job at creating dishes with a beautiful flavours - I believe the fresh produce is grown front their garden in the hotel. A great selection of wines, presented to you on tablets, along with the menu. Everything about this restaurant is incredible and it deserves its no1 spot on TripAdvisor. Thank you for a brilliant evening.
