Best authentic Italian food in Monaco? Here you can find it! I've been here multiple times, the food is always amazing and made by real Italian chefs! There's a vast choice of main and side dishes, as weel as pizzas and desserts. All the pastas on the menu can even be made with gluten free pasta! I really recommend trying their pizza, unlike other restaurants, their levitation is perfect and the pizza base doesn't feel "heavy". Their desserts are also amazing, from the panna cotta to traditional Italian cakes like the caprese.

It is a bit outside of the city centre, but a relatively short distance from the Monaco beach (find the elevators going up!). Fresh ingredients accompanied by friendly service. There are places both inside and in a half-open outside terrace.

Very good Italian restaurant... near Italy ..15 min in car from Italy to Monaco. Living in Monaco, i was surprised to enter this restaurant filled by Italian people... It was really good. People are really sympatic.. fine service. it was full and they asked me 10 min to find a table... and they find it.. after that we finished our evening perfectly. Was so delicious. Came back some days ago.. same. We taste Pizza.. service by Carmine.. he give us good advise for the wine .. really sympatic. During the tennis tournament you will see .. tennis players... teams of the players,... the place to be !!! But be sure to make a reservation one year later : same satisfaction 👌

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Monaco. Excellent pasta, particularly the penne aribaiata, great pizza and the dish of the day does not disappoint. Very friendly and helpful staff. I've been eating there for years and never came away unhappy. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: I have returned a few times, most recently now in the middle of November 2023. The standards seem to have been upheld and the food and service are still excellent. Today I had a special pizza topped with slices of mortadella and a hearty amount of burrata, and it was easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I had a pasta dish that was also a special, a pesto sauce with bacon and other ingredients I've forgotten; my only regret was that I wasn't hungry enough to eat more than half of it. I'll continue to offer Il Giardino as one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. For starters, I arrived close enough to closing time that I would not have been upset if the staff had told me I couldn't eat there; however they still sat me and provided good service. I had the seared tuna, and it was excellent. In fact I probably could've stopped there; it was cooked perfectly (still rare), seasoned just enough, and quality of the fish was decent. I also ordered the Pugliese-style pizza, which was very good and cooked the right way. I may stop back for lunch one day before the end of this trip just to get another pizza. The wine selection is broad yet chiefly Italian; my bottle kept me occupied throughout the meal. It was going to be my dessert as well, but the waiter wore me down and I had their tiramisu. As it should be, it was relatively light and not excessively sweet. Overall it was a great experience, and I'd recommend to those looking for fairly authentic Italian food.

Really tasty pizzas. Great for quick pizza take-aways, you just have to call to order and collect in less than 15mins. Good place to also dine in but service is superrr long. Waiting time kills a little the dinning experience never the less, loveee their seafood pasta (made with fresh pasta) and their pizzas.

I don't often do reviews, but this place needs to be shared. Incredibly friendly and accomodating despite that we only speak English (our problem, not theirs but they were more than happy to speak it with us). Dario, the waiter, was friendly, polite, helpful, and attentive. I can't emphasize this enough - we are at a disadvantage not knowing the Language, and it empowers people to be rude, or be helpful. Dario was above and beyond helpful and it really set the table for an amazing experience. Then the food came and the ravioli Caprese was amazing, as was everything we saw Chef Luca bring out of the kitchen. And very reasonably priced for Monte Carlo 😀 I didn't think to take pictures before I ate the ravioli, and nobody wants pictures of half-eaten food. But as we unwound finishing our drinks, Chef Luca brought us out this mini margarita pizza complementary to enjoy as we finished our beverages. We have been in Europe for nearly a week and have had many great experiences, but have never felt as if we were in someone's home as we did at Il Giardino.

Went here on a Thursday evening with three others, we shared the bruschetta and burrsta salad, then ordered a pizza, two ravioli dinners and the meatball pasta. Also had a great bottle of red wine. Food was fabulous. Carmene and Dario were excellent waiters with a great sense of humor and high level of service. We were visiting on business, but there were many locals. A sure sign of reasonable prices, great service and fabulous food!

I had one of the best pizzas in my life. These guys are from Napoli, they know what they are doing. The gnocchi and tiramisu were fine too. Excellent prices considering it's in overpriced Monaco.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza to a good standard. Our starter (a plate of vegetables) was a bit odd, but after being on holiday for a few days we probably needed that. Not the most glamorous location, and you probably wouldn't go for the atmosphere, but if you're looking for a break from the typical expensive glitzy restaurants to be found in Monaco and want some simple, good Italian food at a reasonable price then this is a good bet.

Friendly service and good pizza. Better prices than we've experienced anywhere for the quality of food. The table wine was mediocre for the price. Had a bruschetta that was a pizza with EVOO, garlic, and tomato but good. Had for cheese pizza for kids and they gobbled and the Contadina for adults which was same as kids but with Jambon (ham, duh...This one you need to learn). An easy walk from Le Meridien if you use the tunnel/elevator route.
