Wow, very nice place to enjoy the evening. Food portions are small, however they were delicious. The service and staff were amazing. Big thanks from B+B at Sunbury Cove Winery CA

Very surprised at the difference between reviews and photos and our experience yesterday. Coarse cuisine: salmon pavement on a few potatoes just buttered. A chocolate cake not bad but nothing extraordinary with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Preposterous quantities considering the price. Only the country terrine as a starter was good if it was homemade at all. Really not in the line of comments and photos.

We just had a wonderful dinner at the Petit Bar - best restaurant in Monaco! Partly because of our host John, but the food & wine is pretty awesome too.

Nice and tucked away on the rock next to the Monaco Palace is this lovely little gem. Simple menu, yet all delicious…what more could you ask for. Everything we had, more than met expectations and John, our waiter, added more than a smile to us and the other tables around. All in all a must visit of you are in the area

Fantastic evening meal in the centre of Monaco old town. The food was fabulous in this little restaurant. It is well worth a visit if you want to get away from the Monaco tourist hot spots. An intimate dining experience, highly recommended.

A must see when on the Rocher!! A local place with great food and a good wine list too!! We were a party of two and reserved for a busy Friday night. We had a mix of starters and a main each. But the Daube was amazing!! Thank you John and see you soon!!

You know this place has the freshest and most delicious food in the area when the restaurant is packed with locals. The place only serves seasonal food & the owner shops every morning for his clients. You can’t skip on this place if you’re in the area, much better than any of the over rated restaurants in Monaco.

My family came across this small restaurant. The waiter was so kind and responsive. The chef came out to meet my daughter and to top it all off the food was so damn good. The lamb, the local caught tuna and salmon! Lastly, we had the best prosecco we have had in awhile and we will be back!

This is a charming little restaurant in Old Town Monaco, owned and run by a sassy and fun guy. Probably no more than 10 tables, but you will be lucky to find yourself there enjoying food from the small but tasty menu. We had a delightful experience there!

A true culinary experience and one of the few authentic restaurants in Monaco with a menu of fresh seasonal products always varied and renewed. Special mention to the manager whose strong character and epicureanism always raise the level of his establishment. To try and renew!

It is a nice place and if the zucchini flowers were good, the lobster salad with avocado cream and mango surprised me: not having a magnifying glass, I had trouble seeing the lobster pieces. Must have been 10 grams. At €20.00 a dish, it's sad. So we ordered nothing else and stayed hungry.

I went to lunch at the Petit Bar in Monaco and what an incredible discovery! At first glance, this restaurant may seem simple, but make no mistake, the cuisine is exceptional. To begin with, I enjoyed an absolutely exquisite wolffish carpaccio. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the freshness of the fish was remarkable. Then I enjoyed pork ribs with a sumptuous sauce. Each bite was a pure delight, the meat was tender and the sauce perfectly enhanced the dish. To top it off, I ended with a strawberry lightning bolt that was incredibly light. It was really nice to eat and the sweetness of the strawberries was perfectly integrated. The service was simply impeccable. The boss is very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more memorable. The Petit Bar is truly a hidden gem in Monaco. If you are looking for excellent cuisine with impeccable service, look no further. A culinary experience that I will not soon forget!

I enjoyed a walk-up solo lunch, just steps away from Monaco’s palace and minutes away from watching the changing of the guards. The boeuf bourguignon was incredibly flavorful. It powered me up to make the trek alongside the Formula 1 track to the Monte Carlo casino. But the eclair (oh, the eclair!) was the star. Light and fluffy, it was the perfect end to this delightful meal.

This restaurant is small; you can actually see the cook cooking the dishes! And what a cook; the food is delicious. We were 4 friends. All of us ordered different dishes. I had the roasted duck magret with shallots and potatoes. A friend had the fish daurade, another had the roasted turbot, and another had the beef dish. Each of us loved our dish. It was a "rain weather" accident that brought us to this "Little Bar" restaurant. We had gone to the close by aquarium and wanted to walk a bit in old town Monaco, and we were getting hungry and a bit cold. The Little Bar was there and we went in = sheer luck.

We got this recommendation from a friend and we are so glad we took it! John was great to work with we had a change in our reservation and he was helpful and accommodating. Not to be mistaken, the food was incredible and that’s why we were so happy that we made the walk! We had the zucchini flowers, ribs and duck which all were delicious and flavorful! It’s a truly must visit in Monaco! The desserts as well were great!

Wonderful small restaurant just a short walk from the Palace. Shared an amazing scallop appetizer and beef poivre with some great rose wine . Chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to lunch. Call ahead and reserve an outside table.

Found this on TripAdvisor and booked. In a lane next to the Palace. Beautiful setting for a traditional restaurant. We had 3 courses. Very good quality but prepared to pay. Service great.

Exquisite restaurant! One of the few french-bistrot-style restaurants in Monaco. The food was excellent. We had the Saint-Jacques and the sea bass carpaccio for starters and then the tartare and sole meuniere. We also tried the noisette feuilleté and the peach almond dessert! Omg! They were so heavenly light and delicious!!! We will definitely visit again... and again!!!

We came through the city looking for amazing food, and Le Petit did NOT disappoint! The dishes are eclectic, and those who cook good food know that good food takes time to cook. Don’t sit down and expect quick service, but the wait is more than worth it. We ordered the sea bream (recommended to have them filet the fish for you), the cod, the filet of beef, and the andouille sausage. The shredded carrot salad for an appetizer was so unique and we convinced another table to order the same thing, we all loved it! We also ordered the bone marrow. So disappointed that we couldn’t stay for dessert. Next time I’ll go with the usual routine and order dessert first! Thank you, chef, for your fantastic dishes and recommendations. We will always stop by here on our way through…and make reservations! Be sure you call or email ahead of coming to ensure your spot. There is limited seating and many had to be turned away for those reserved spots.

Amazing foods, great wine, friendly atmosphere! My favorite one was my main course, Black angus with home made BBQ sauce. The steak was beautifully cooked, the sauce was very delicious! Definitely one of my favorite experience ! I strongly suggest to make reservation because the restaurant is not big.

Best meal we had at Monaco. The waiter was lively and patiently translated the menu to us in English. The food exceeded our expectations and it was really very good. The fish tasted great while retaining a fantastic texture. Their own garlic cream sauce was amazing. Very healthy meal too.

Amazing local food at reasonable prices. Every time we go to Le Petit Bar in Monaco, we're delighted with a brand new menu which pleasantly surprises us. This is mainly due to the fact that they use fresh seasonal locally sourced products to compose their dishes. You're guaranteed to find something delicious every time you visit. The prices are reasonable and accessible when you think of the quality of the meal you're having. The place is manned by its owner who is a great host with a great welcoming attitude. Like the name of the place indicates... it's pretty small so seating is limited. Any wait is worth the while once you get to try their dishes.

We went here for lunch, it really is little but when you get a seat it is cosy and enough room. The menu is only in French but the owner explains the items for you in English. The tapas where excellent and we enjoyed the main courses as well. You sit on the street and the masses pass you which is nice to look at. The prices are ok for Monaco.

Expectations were low, given this is tourist trap geography. I was really impressed by both the quality of food and service, surrounded by a lovely genuine feeling ambiance. Definitely the place to eat in this part of Monte Carlo!
