It is a Russian-owned bakery. A very mediocre one. The 5-star reviews are suspiciously written in Russian, perhaps by their buddies. The prices are ridiculously high and the quality is not even near the standard French bakeries out there. Not recommended. Russians bought this bakery and tried to present it as the original Riviera, as it used to be, but it is not.

A Timeless Monaco Gem. I’ve been coming to this bakery for years, and every visit is a treat! Established in 1955, this place isn’t just a bakery—it’s a piece of Monaco’s history. Many of the original recipes are still used today, and you can truly taste the tradition in every bite. The selection of cakes and pastries is fantastic, from delicate éclairs to beautifully crafted tarts, all made with the highest quality ingredients. The flavors are rich yet balanced, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into every creation. Yes, the prices may be a little higher than some other spots, but they absolutely reflect the quality, craftsmanship, and heritage of this iconic venue. Beyond the pastries, the atmosphere is charming and elegant. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee and croissant or selecting a cake for a special occasion, the experience always feels special. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back, not just for the tasty delights , but for the vibe. If you appreciate true artisanal baking and want to taste a bit of Monaco’s culinary heritage, this bakery is a must-visit!

Overpriced and underwhelming. Paid €14 for an ordinary matcha tea (listed as 'Salon de Thé') with no price warning. When questioned, staff simply replied 'it's matcha from Japan.' The pastries were similarly overpriced at €9. Despite its historic status in Monaco (since 1955), the quality doesn't justify the cost. Your money is better spent elsewhere

The food and pastries were unreal. Absurd amounts of cream everywhere. Coffee was great as well, Best place to sit down for a pastry in Monaco hands down

As a celiac I was really excited to try out their gluten-free options. Instead I was met with an incredibly rude service. Never experienced such an attitude before, so I left without buying anything. Would definitely not recommend going there.

Small bakery with much to offer. We had brunch here three times during our stay in Monte Carlo. Taste, quality, and service are consistently excellent.

We asked for the apple strudel to accompany our Earl Grey tea (8.50eu) and coffees and they said they are not prepared to slice the strudel and that we would have to take the whole thing. There was about 6 slices worth! So we ordered an almond croissant instead (tasty) and whilst eating that, a couple came in and asked for apple strudel and they sliced for them two slices!! Very curious as to why they would not give us a slice! One cappuccino, one latte, a tea and an almond croissant 28eu.

Very nice, croissants were awesome but I don't think that charging 5 euros for a cappuccino with a very poorly made froth is fair, even for Monaco.

Small French style bakery with many delicious treats. There are 6-7 small tables inside and about as many on the patio in front. Delicious. I would come again!

Some of the very best (and freshest) café fare we've ever had. Quiche and savory sausage pastry were excellent. Desserts were so fresh. I don't like macarons, but I like them here. I ate two. Everyone working here, to include the owner, was very kind and pleasant toward us. We enjoyed our interaction with them nearly as much as the food. Hope to one day return.

I felt robbed. Two macaroons at €2.50 each which ended up at €3 each when I checked the bill at home. My cheesecake had more whipped cream than cake or cheese. Everything has been fine for the last 4 years in this place that I visit four or five times a year, but yesterday it was bad as hell . I think this was the last time I visited. It may be excellent for many but right now those prices do not justify the so so quality of the cakes and sweets. The place is clean though and beautiful decorated I must say, but the quality of the products need a good rethink.

Highly overpriced and the quality of their pastries is not even average - some are too dry and some are just pure sugar. No atmosphere at all inside. It’s a shame, they have a great location in Monaco.

Very nice place to get delicious patisseries to take away, or to eat in with a tea or coffee - it's up to you :) The service was great and the prices very correct for the quality level.

The place is friendly and well organized. It works on Sunday - not easy to find alternative. The service is excellent. The staff is polite and experienced in hospitality.

Ordered a Birthday cake for my 4 year old son. The order was just a plain white sponge cake with cream cheese icing. On the day of his birthday party we went to go and pick up the cake and we were presented with a pink gateau with slices of fruit on top. In the centre of the two sponge layers was a thick layer or strawberry jam and cream. It was so upsetting and disappointing. The staff in the shop insisted this was the cake I ordered with the shop owner. When I sent the shop owner an email asking her what happened, she didn’t even have the politeness to respond to me. The cake cost me €75. A cake I didn’t order and couldn’t even serve because what child eats such a rich cake and the children at his party would have just laughed at him.

UNMISSABLE!!!! if you stroll down Blvd des Moulins, this place is the hub stop you can’t miss!!! 🤤🤤🤤 The best pastry products on the entire Riviera hands down.... Plus a heart-warming, well-curated, stylish welcoming atmosphere of a real tea-room from other times will embrace your senses. A total body and mind experience amplified by the kindness of all those who work there and the hospitality of the hosts who run this oasis of sweetness. And I mean it in all terms. Unmissable!

Overrated I was recommended this pattiserie by someone, but sadly I found it to be very disappointing. The staff are friendly, but cakes are too rich and sickly sweet. Sadly they’re isn’t much choice in Monaco so I can see why this place is popular, especially with the old ladies. If you like heavy cakes and pastries it will probably be for you. Something slightly modern I’d go for Cova.

Cute. Popular with old ladies. Amazing old fashioned pastries, some gluten free. They make cakes to order too. Super cute interior. 🍰
