We had dinner here while visiting Monaco and were super happy that our daughter who cannot eat gluten found a very tasty food option here. We had regular pizza and the gluten free option and all were super tasty. Staff is very friendly and it was overall a great atmosphere with live music.

I understand this is Monaco and the prices will reflect that, but there are far better Italian restaurants at far cheaper prices here (Graziella being one of them). For 35€ you can get fried calamari with empty shrimp heads (tails are, presumably, too expensive to be included), without any side dish. If you want a side, you can get plain french fries (store-bought, frozen) for additional 7€. I would not have a problem with any of these prices if the food was actually worth it, but this was obviously just lazily fried in a deep fryer, so it does leave a bad taste in your mouth to be charged 42€ for a single portion of fried calamari and french fries. Also, pizza called Napoli (because of which, one would assume it would be Neopolitan-style) is sub-par. The mozzarella was ok, but the pizza was oversauced and the crust wasn't nearly as airy and soft as Neopolitan-style standard would demand. The only saving grace were the desserts; cheesecake was absolutely delectable, just the right crumble of the base, the soft cheese mixture with perfect ratio of sweetness and sharpness, and the topping with fresh strawberries was fantastic. But even so, I would not go back, except perhaps for that cheesecake.

We have been regular customers at Trescalini as residents. During the summer, we enjoyed a generous portion of pasta cacio e pepe and received complimentary limoncello when dining with my family. I returned in October with a table of friends, only to find that the pasta cacio e pepe portion was much smaller, and the limoncello was now being charged. I spoke to the so-called manager, who insisted that they always serve 100 grams of pasta, even though my portion in the summer was four times larger. He was not friendly, unwilling to make any concessions, and there were no extra gestures to make us feel valued. I told him that we would never return, and he had no response to that. Sadly, that was our last visit.

The food was awesome. The service was great but a small problem was that everyone speaks italian, but if you speak to them in english they still understand you. And the atmosphere was fabolous. Highly recommend.

The restaurant looked lovely from the outside with checked table cloths and herbs in tin planters on each table. We ordered the €26 spaghetti and meatballs as well as a meat pizza. The food arrived quickly and just by looking at the spaghetti with only 3 small meatballs! I could see that the meatballs were cold, I tasted one and it was cold! The spaghetti was warm but hard and extremely salty. The meal wasn’t acceptable and after the initial taste I could not eat anymore! I waited for the waiter to return to our table to check everything was ok with the meal but he didn’t. The pizza was under cooked and sloppy therefore I wouldn’t recommend it. Eventually the waiter came to clear the plates and I explained about the cold meatballs and hard spaghetti requesting the meal be removed from the bill. He replied abruptly stating we should have informed him because how was he to know the meatballs were cold! He explained that the hard spaghetti was intentional and how it should taste. A few minutes later a waiter served two small portions of home made cherry ice cream (on the house, we hadn’t ordered it!) When the bill arrived the meatballs had not been deducted! We reluctantly paid the bill in full and called at the supermarket to pick something up to eat on the way back to our hotel. I have therefore rated it with a one star! I would never return and unfortunately would not recommend it.

Me and my fiancee had a lovely experience in this Italian restaurant that was one hidden gem in Monaco! We liked the atmosphere, the service was excellent and the food was delicious! Our waiter took an amazing care of us and made sure that we felt satisfied with everything!

Best Italian restaurant in Monaco by far. After having lived here for a year Tre Scalini has been the absolute best in terms of Italian food. There’s no words to describe the quality of the ingredients used in all of the dishes. A must try when in Monaco!

The restaurant has been recommended to us by a business acquaintance and we have not been disappointed. Been there twice. The place, the food and the atmosphere is Roman all-right! Very good food (had melanzane alla Sorrentina, carciofi, vitello tonnato, fried calamari and bucatini all'Amatriciana). Personally did not like the Tartufo but it was very well prepared. I preferred the Cheesecake but it's a question of tastes. Service was very friendly, addressing everyone with a charming "caro". I am sorry to read so many reviews stating the staff is unfriendly: it has not been my experience. Thank you all and I am looking forward to dine there again soon. Grazie a tutti!

This place was disappointing. For 26€ you get 5 meatballs in tomato sauce without anything else. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe we ordered was cold. Had to wait long for the waiter to come.

We did not enjoy the food here. The food was of take-away quality with restaurant prices, therefore expensive for what is. I got the bolognese ragu pasta and honestly i was trying to find the meat in there, it tasted just as pomodoro pasta and not a very good one. Service was good. Atmosphere was good.

Only place that stays open for a late lunch (or normal hours in other countries). If you're visiting (or living) in Monaco this is the only place to have a good, authentic Italian meal after 2 pm. It's a life saver!! Service is also good and the place is clean and kids friendly!

I rarely had such a badly prepared Capricciosa pizza. It looked recooked, the raw materials did not have freshly cut colours and characteristics. It tasted oily and crusty and it was flat as if it had been fried. I hope the owners take corrective actions.

Good Italian food, sympathic restaurant director and most waiters are good. Excellent café gourmand which I would strongly recommend as dessert. The Roman pizzas are absolutely phantastic! Thin, crispy dough. Incredible! On the other hand: Tomatoes on crispy bread are very good, but for 6 Euro I would not expect only 1 small tomato bread, but either 1 big bread or 2-3 smaller ones. And paying 10 Euro for 1 scoop of ice-cream is totally exaggerated and makes angry.

Sadly a horrible experience. I am visiting Monaco 5 times per year. I give every restaurant a chance... but this was the worst. We had Spaghetti Carbonara which looked nice, but tasted like a 1€ fix product from Carefour. The pasta was HARD!! ... not al dente, not soft, they were hard to bite!! Sauce was definetely not selfmade. Our Pizza Diavola was worse than a freezer pizza. No taste, tiny and thin (not good thin... thin like no pizza at all). Our waiter had the usual arrogant, italien pride so I didn't tell him how horrible everything tasted. The San Pellegrino water was fresh, cold and excellent :P! Also the view is very nice at the port. Oh and of course it's expensive hahaha 22€ for the horrible pasta and 19€ for the horrible pizza.

Didn’t even manage to to order. The restaurant is split in areas, they area I was sitting included a 30+ people table. The other areas had normally occupied table. I tried to order but I was told to wait after my waiter is done getting orders and serving the big table. Seeing that would be a long process I had to leave before getting to try anything. Very poor customer treatment as when I asked about it I was told “sorry that’s the way” and just left.

We had an amazing time here. So good that I came back the day after at 11:30am while I left at 12am the night before. The staff is fantastic, the food is amazing, you can order veggie stuff and I would definitely recommend the VEGETARIANA pizza. My two mates had salads and sea food and enjoyed them immensely. I highly recommend the place

This restaurant is awesome! Super nice atmosphere, staff is so kind, food is good and typically roman. Price is Monaco style but lower compared to other Italian restaurants in Monaco and with a good quality price ratio. They have many dishes and do not miss the Tartufo, which is they dessert speciality.
